A Second Post Appears!

Just a second test post. I thiiiiiink I have this all set to go again, but I expect there to be breakage here and there.

I restarted this blog for a few reasons:

  • I wanted to dabble in POSSE post syndication because I’d like to reduce reliance on any one third party service, like a particular mastodon instance, or even an entire social media platform.

  • I’ve gotten the ‘urge to blog’ bug again and well, here we are…

  • I wanted to screw around with building web pages in emacs org-mode because it seems nifty and powerful, and I already do a lot of stuff in emacs, so why not? At the moment, this is being facilitated by ox-hugo.

  • I plan to also look into generating gemini, org-social, and gopher versions of posts, because why not? The more places and formats, the better.

  • It gives me a place to blather about things I like. If you hang around, you’ll likely see posts on linux, emacs, infosec (especially CTFs), a bit of gaming (mostly Veloren), and assorted other nerdery.
